Black and white swap This quilt was made from a pattern called "Spring Fever" from the book Celebrated Craziness by Buggy Barn. It takes 30 fat quarters and is a great project to use up some of your stash.

This is how our swaps work- You may join at any time. No need to wait for a group to form as in many swaps. You do not need to sign up but please send an e-mail letting us know that you sent us a package and we will let you know when we send out the new fabric. Our swaps are a great way to add variety to your fabric stash. For example, if you have yardage of a fabric but need fat quarters for a project, cut the fabric into fat quarters and send them in to exchange them for a variety of fat quarters from your fellow quilters. Send as many fabrics as you like. They can all be different or all alike. Send some in with a friend and save some postage. You will receive the same number of fat quarters, squares, etc. that you send in and they will all be different from yours! Please enclose the fee in an envelope and send in with your fabric. These fees are to cover the cost of sorting and processing the many fabrics sent in. All fabrics will be sent to The Fabric Stash Club. This will eliminate many of the problems associated with other swaps. The address is: The Fabric Stash Club P.O. Box 5816 Coralville, IA 52241 You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your fabric for the return of your new fabric or a mailing label and stamps if you want it returned in the same envelope. It is highly recommended to protect your fabric by mailing it in a waterproof envelope like the kind with bubble wrap inside or by placing it in a plastic bag before placing in the envelope. If the packaging becomes damaged by water this may save your fabric. Please label each piece of fabric you send with your initials, city, state and country. When sending in multiple pieces of the same fabric, you may place them in a ziplock bag with your info. in the bag. For example, if sending ten I Spy squares of the same fabric, put them in a bag without labeling each individual square. The initials are so we can identify what you sent us and so we don't send you a fabric that is the same as one you sent in. The rest of the info. is so you can see where the fabric came from. You may get fabric from all over the world or from your same area. Send only 100% cottons that are quilt shop quality. Please send only fabrics that you would like to receive. All fabrics must be clean-smoke free and pet free. Those that are not will be returned to you as many people have allergies. Each swap may have some individual guidelines that will be specific to that swap. Fabrics will be mailed back to you within 2 days in most instances. To be notified of new swaps as they are formed, please sign up for our email newsletter.
